Mature digital delivery is measured, not assumed. This is a ten-question self-check built from the acceptance criteria of ISO 19650-aligned delivery. It is a way to see where information risk sits on a project. It is not an audit and it does not certify anything.
For each question, look for the evidence named beside it. Score a question green when the evidence exists and was used, amber when it exists but is partial or stale, and red when it is missing. Many reds in the first three questions usually explain the problems seen later in the project.
| # | Question | Evidence to look for |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Does every information requirement trace to a stated need? | An EIR whose clauses link up to OIR, AIR or PIR needs |
| 2 | Do the requirements carry acceptance criteria that can be checked? | Checkable criteria per requirement, a share you can count |
| 3 | Was delivery capability assessed before commitment? | A recorded capability assessment that was acted on |
| 4 | Is there a BEP with a TIDP per task team and a MIDP with dated milestones? | The three documents, updated across phases |
| 5 | Are containers in the correct CDE state, with a complete revision history? | A sampled audit of Work in Progress, Shared, Published and Archive states |
| 6 | Is the level of information need agreed per element and milestone? | A LOIN matrix, and models that are not over-modelled |
| 7 | Is coordination run as a controlled issue lifecycle? | A BCF issue register with owners and verified close-out |
| 8 | Does the data survive IFC exchange? | A before and after exchange check: properties, classification, relationships |
| 9 | Is acceptance an evidence-bound decision at a gate? | Recorded pass or reject results against the EIR, not verbal sign-off |
| 10 | Will the project information model become a usable asset information model? | Asset data populated against the AIR before handover |
Each measure is computed from a named source such as the CDE, the BCF register or an IDS report, and has one accountable owner.
Fix the reds in the earliest questions first, set measurable targets in the EIR, and re-check at each milestone. If you would like a second pair of eyes on the result, DEIM can review your answers with you; see our Digital Delivery service or write to [email protected].
